The company is registered under the Industrial
Training Act and trains Kenyans on a regular basis through
the Directorate of Industrial Training through Polytechnics,
Industrial Training Institutes etc. We also carry out 'in
house' training in various technical and other fields.
- Training at Steel Structures Ltd., could
be described as “on-the-spot” training in general
- Employees from the highest to the lowest
levels of employment, including Directors and Managers are
trained as require
- Most employees receive “on-the-job”
training, for specific computer technology, for example
- Selected employees are sent for “Refreshment
Courses”, to keep them up to date with the latest
technology and methods and therefore receive constant training
Health & Safety
- Health and Safety is considered
an important factor in all operations of the Company.
- The Company has set up Health and Safety
rules, regulations and procedures which must be followed
and promoted by all employees of the Company to minimise
risk to all.
- Company Rules, Regulations and procedures
are revised from time to time based upon new requirements,
experience, information etc similar to other issues in the
operating manual.
- Selected workers are sent for First Aid
Training and Safety Training regularly. The trained workers
are also involved in making improvements and training fellow
workers.
